On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, we were pleased to welcome two high-profile visitors to our Lisdorf site. The Minister for Labor, Economy, Energy and Transport in Saarland, Anke Rehlinger and Patrik Lauer, District Administrator of the Saarlouis district paid a visit to KTP. In a discussion with the management, Christel and Andreas Wintrich, both were able to get an idea of our company. They discussed topics such as the origins of our company and our products, the people who work for us, as well as sustainable operations, production and management. Mrs. Rehlinger and Mr. Lauer were visibly impressed by the added value of our containers in terms of sustainability, despite “plastic” or precisely because of the material used – 100% recycled plastic.

Sustainability - Independence.

Both also see our own energy supply through the installed photovoltaic system as an important and right step towards the future and green energy. Thus, together with other measures such as the conversion to hybrid and e-vehicles, we manage to significantly reduce our CO2 footprint. The goal is clearly to become CO2 neutral.

But other, more immediate issues were also discussed, such as the connection of the public transport system to the Lisdorfer Berg industrial estate. A bus connection would be a real benefit for many of the people working here, not only for KTP – Anke Rehlinger and Patrik Lauer agreed.

We say thank you very much for the visit and the sympathetic, productive but above all personal exchange!

Note: All participants were vaccinated and tested before the appointment.
