Anke Rehlinger, the Prime Minister of Saarland, visited us in February 2022. Together with Patrik Lauer, District Administrator of the Saarlouis district, she visited our production site in Lisdorf.

As part of her summer tour, Anke Rehlinger also visited the KTP in Bous yesterday. This week she has three to six stops on her tour in six days. It was a busy day at our headquarters – she arrived with a team of 14 in smart black e-limousines, in the spirit of sustainability. Although Anke Rehlinger is holding a high position she is a very approachable person – everyone was greeted with a handshake and then it was off to the showroom. Despite the busy schedule, she found time for a lively discussion with the management team, the Wintrich family. Christel and Andreas Wintrich were able to introduce her the idea of the KTP and explain the concept of a holistic circular economy for our products.  She was amazed to hear who our customers are and where in the world our reusable containers are used. Anke Rehlinger then got an even deeper insight during the tour of the production facility in Bous. In addition to the tool shop and in-house testing laboratory, she was visibly impressed by the large silos, extruders and presses. She was able to see live how our KTP containers are made. And then it was already time for the next “hidden champion” on the agenda. The summer tour has only just begun.
