KTP: OUR JOURNEY TO CARBON NEUTRALITY – PART 7

Now in Bous: Green electricity!

Photovoltaic times two We rely entirely on recycled material for our containers – but there is more to be done in order to become “CO2-neutral”. We now produce electricity from solar energy at our production site in Bous as well.

2,177 m2 photovoltaics – an important step into the future. Energy independence as a building block to minimize our CO2 footprint as much as possible.

After we had already successfully commissioned a photovoltaic system with a total output of 750 kWh in Lisdorf in 2022, we wanted to do the same in Bous. The hall roof of the tool shop is now completely equipped with approx. 2,177 m2 of photovoltaics. This means we can save around 251,323 kg of CO2 every year at this location. The entire system has an output of 454 kWp.

We rely on green energy because the power of the sun is an important building block for us in minimizing our CO2 footprint as much as possible and getting one step closer to energy independence.
